Job Title: Behavioral Health • Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) • Days
We're seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) for an 8•month contract, working full•time, Monday to Friday. This role may involve working at different locations within the city.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct CalAIM assessments and diagnose patients
• Develop and maintain treatment plans
• Document progress notes, including homelessness history and barriers
• Engage with unhoused individuals and link them to services
• Complete WIC 5150 applications for psychiatric hold when necessary
• Provide therapeutic case management and psychotherapy
• Support transportation for case management
• Attend housing•related meetings and understand relevant legislation
• Build relationships with property managers and engage with community members
Requirements:
• Active LMHC license issued by the State of California
• 2 years of experience in the field
• Ability to teach rehabilitation skills and manage symptoms
• Experience working with unhoused and at•risk individuals
• Adherence to Public Health Department’s COVID•19 guidelines
Candidates without RTO will be prioritized. Time•off requests must be submitted two weeks in advance. Temporary staff must provide two weeks' notice before ending their assignment. This role does not require on•call duty. PPE is provided, and parking is available at all facilities.
