Job Title: Weekend Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Join our Behavioral Health unit as a part•time Registered Nurse, working 10•hour shifts on weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct psychiatric patient care.
• Administer medications to a maximum of 24 individuals.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Document patient data in the EMR system.
• Supervise personnel records.
• Comply with facility rules and policies.
Requirements:
• Active Texas RN License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• 2 years of direct care nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health (excluding Home Health or School Nurse).
• 1 year of experience in a facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
• Experience in psychiatric or nursing home settings preferred.
• COVID•19 vaccination.
Additional Information:
• Role may require unit floating.
• Potential extension after initial 13•week period.
• 2•week orientation provided.
• Free parking available.
• Pay cycle: Sunday to Saturday.
Our facility is a Medicaid Certified Intermediate Care for teenagers (13•17) with developmental disabilities experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Submission of work history, skills checklist, license or NURSYS, and AHA BLS on GQR Letterhead is required.
