Job Description:
Join our multidisciplinary team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. This role involves delivering patient care, maintaining professional nursing standards, and effectively using the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Evaluate patient’s comprehensive needs.
• Document patient/family responses to interventions.
• Develop and implement patient’s care and discharge plans.
• Guide Licensed Practical Nurse and Nurse Assistant.
• Facilitate learning opportunities for patient/family.
• Communicate patient changes/conditions to caregivers.
• Participate in departmental/organizational meetings and educational opportunities.
• Steward hospital resources and meet productivity expectations.
• Adapt to changes in the health care environment.
• Solve problems and support process improvement teams.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Delegate/supervise based on patient needs and scope of practice.
• Maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPPA regulations.
• Provide competent patient care based on age•specific growth and development.
• Enhance job functions through personal and professional growth.
• Reflect the organization’s Mission, Values, and Guiding Behaviors in duties.
• Abide by all safety policies and procedures, identifying safety concerns.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested.

• Participate in shared governance councils and department/housewide committees/work teams as requested.
