Job Title: Corrections • Medication Aide • Days
Join our team as a Medication Aide in a dynamic corrections environment. This role demands flexibility, with potential diversions up to 50 miles for work.
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per week: 36 hours
Overtime, based on performance and punctuality, is available with a cap at 60 hours total or 20 hours OT. Medication Aides may be required to float to different units within a 50•mile radius. Refusal to float is considered a DNR.
Scheduling is done in 4•week blocks, with the work week running Saturday – Friday.
Certifications required: BLS, Certified Medication Aide
Experience:
• 2 years as a Certified Medication Aide
• LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych/Corrections experience beneficial
Ideal candidates are independent, thick•skinned, and thrive in a fast•paced environment.
COVID Vaccine Requirement: Mandatory, with exemptions accepted.
