Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT) • Corrections, Night Shift
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our client's team in the Corrections Department. This role requires working night shifts and offers a fast•paced, dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities
• Maintain patient comfort and safety at all times
Job Requirements:
• Active C.N.A license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years continuous experience as a C.N.A
• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych/Corrections is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast•paced environment
• Must be thick•skinned, independent, and avoid participation in internal issues and gossip
Additional Information:
• This is a 13•week assignment with the possibility of extension
• The work week runs from Saturday to Friday
• Staff will be notified 2+ weeks in advance of their next month's schedule
• Eligibility to work overtime is contingent on performance, punctuality, and attendance
• The PCT may be asked to float to different units within a 50•mile radius
• COVID•19 vaccination is required, but exemptions are accepted
Please note that refusal to float or divert is considered a Do Not Return (DNR) status. We encourage our staff to utilize tools like Google Maps for navigation. Your home base is not considered in float or divert situations.
