Job Title: Registered Nurse • Corrections (Night Shift)
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in a corrections setting. This role requires a commitment to providing high•quality care in a fast•paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a correctional facility.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Start Dates: Orientations are held on weekends once the candidate is cleared by credentialing.
Shift: Nights, 1800-0630
Hours per week: 36/48 • rotations are not guaranteed but 36 hours each week is. Flexibility is required.
Overtime: Eligibility to work overtime is available contingent on performance and based on call•ins, punctuality, and unexcused absences.
Float Requirements: Candidates may be asked to float as needed to different units within a 50•mile radius.
Scheduling: 4 weeks block booking by the 20th. The work week is Saturday – Friday.
Qualifications:
• Current BLS certification.
• Compact or Texas RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• At least 1 year of Acute Care or Med Surg experience.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing and/or Psych is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Traits:

• Does not participate in internal issues and gossip
COVID Vaccine Requirement: Required but exemptions are accepted.
Compensation: Competitive travel pay package offered.
Bonus: $200 Sign•on Bonus, upon completion of required modules and starting assignment.
