CRNA Job Summary - Chicago, IL
- Location: Acute Care Hospital at 1653 W Congress Pkwy, Chicago, IL
- Shift Details: 4x10 (10-hour shifts, 7a-5:30p, unpaid lunch); minimum of 3 weeks/month, preference for 4 weeks.
- Daily Schedule: Cases typically start at 8 a.m.; rare early cases may start at 7:15 a.m. (arrival by 6:30 a.m. as needed).
- Call: None required.
- Block Schedules: Not available.
- Orientation: 1 day, 8 hours (non-billable).
- Daily Census: 4-8 adult patients.
Requirements:
- Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, DEA, Illinois CSR.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required; EPIC charting experience mandatory.
- Licensing: Illinois license required, willing to license; 18-week credentialing for new licenses, 12-week for existing.
Compensation:Additional Notes:
- Support Staff: 19-23 anesthesiologists and 10-20 CRNAs per shift.
- Anesthesia Skills: Proficient in MAC and General Anesthesia; no need for regional, OB, thoracic, or cardiac anesthesia.
- Contract Length: Ongoing.
- Schedule Notice Requirement: 60-day notice for schedule changes.
Start Date: Approximately 18 weeks out (license required) or 12 weeks out (licensed CRNAs).
