Schedule Options: Open to 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts (full-time). Coverage needed from January to May, with potential to extend.
January: 2-3 CRNAs needed
February: 4 CRNAs needed
March: 3-4 CRNAs needed
April: 1-2 CRNAs needed
May: 3-4 CRNAs needed

Facility Details:

Level III Trauma Center with a collaborative MD/CRNA relationship.

No call requirements, but weekend and day call options are available for interested candidates.

Credentialing:

Credentialing timeframe ~6 weeks (faster with a Massachusetts license).

Temporary privileges available for quicker start.

Patient Demographics: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics.

Case Mix: General (e.g., laparoscopic cholecystectomy/appendectomy), robotic (e.g., gastric bypass, prostate surgery), vascular (e.g., Endo AAA, A-V fistulas, CAE’s), ortho, mastectomies, cystoscopies.

Support Staff: CRNAs supported by anesthesia techs (machine turnovers), scrub techs, first assists, and POAs (OR cleaning).

Charting: Currently paper charting; transitioning to EMR on 1/20/25.

Reason for Coverage: Staff shortage due to retirements, relocations, and expansion of CRNA coverage to other hospitals.

Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Travel/Lodging: Reimbursable with discounted rates at preferred hotels:

Hotel on North: $139

Holiday Inn and Suites: $90

Hilton Garden Inn: $109

Courtyard Marriott Lenox: $109 (Sun-Thu), $129 (Fri-Sat).

Submission Requirements:

Massachusetts license: Highly preferred.

Board Certification: Required.

Clean background: Required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required.

State License Requirements: Massachusetts.
