Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects that align with our organization's strategic objectives. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, budgets, and project deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. This role involves coordinating across multiple teams, managing stakeholders, and applying best practices in project management to support technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all projects align with company objectives.
  • Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects. Coordinate team efforts, identify potential bottlenecks, and reallocate resources as needed to maintain productivity.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Track project expenses, monitor costs, and ensure budget adherence. Address any budgetary issues promptly to prevent project overruns.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively address challenges and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, issues, and resolutions. Communicate project status and progress clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs. Ensure all project records are up to date and accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
