Job description
Responsibilities:
- Deliver emergency medical care as the sole ER provider.
- Manage and dispatch trauma cases.
Requirements:
- Valid Maine license.
- PNCC, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
- Prior experience as a solo provider in a critical access hospital.
Schedule:
- Two non-consecutive 24-hour shifts weekly.
- Initial 3-month assignment with potential extension.
Additional Information:
- Ages 0-100+.
- Support from 2 RN’s & 1 hospitalist.
- Meditech EMR system.
- Frequent injuries common to a summer destination due to local population.
