Job description

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing high-quality cardiac care. Two years of cardiology experience is required.

Immediate Coverage needed:

**Schedule:**

- Monday to Friday: 5 PM - 7 AM

- Saturday to Monday: 7 AM - 7 AM

Duration of contract once credentialed is 4-5 months.

**Note**

The call M-F night may or may not require the provider to come into the hospital depending on what is going on with the patient they are being called about.

The weekend call does require the on call person to come into the hospital and round on the service and do any consults that comes in as well as read any EKG’s, Echoes, and Nuclear stress test that are scheduled.

Highlights include:

Inpatient only
Required BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA
Established practice with 10 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
Average number of daily inpatient consults provider will see in hospital: 18-20

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide comprehensive cardiac evaluations and management.

- Interpretation of EKG’s, Echocardiogram’s, and Nuclear Stress Test

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

- Participate in on-call coverage during scheduled hours. One week a month (Monday – Friday 5p-7a) and weekend (Saturday 7a – Monday 7a)

- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.

**Qualifications:**

- Board certification in Cardiology.

- Active medical license in North Carolina.

- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
