Job description
Responsibilities:
- Manage medical care for unit clients.
- Attend to 5-15 patients daily for various health concerns.
- Conduct morning clinics and new admissions within 24 hours.
Requirements:
- Meet immunization and drug test requirements.
- Complete necessary training and pass TIPS
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for accrediting agencies.
Preferred candidates have experience with mental health and developmental disabilities.
License/Certification:
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
- Credentialed by ANCC, licensed as an RN, and authorized to practice as an APRN in Texas.
- Current, unrestricted Texas license.
- Registered with DEA and Texas Department of Public Safety Controlled Substance Board.
- Possession of a National Provider Identified (NPI#) and current CPR certifications.
Work schedule is typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri), subject to change based on hospital needs. Submit your resume for consideration.
