We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and enhance our equities trading infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our equities trading platform.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, and other stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business goals.
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our trading systems.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams.
- Strong technical background with expertise in C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Deep understanding of trading systems and financial markets, particularly in equities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
