Job Title: Special Procedures • IR Tech • Day Shift
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Procedures Tech to join their team. This is a 13•week assignment with a day shift schedule from 8AM•4:30PM, with 40 hours per week. The role requires on•call availability for 7•9 days in a 4•week period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cath, vascular procedures, and if possible, EP.
• Scrub and work with Philips equipment.
• Conduct Cathlab, PCI, stents, atherectomy, vascular angiograms, and peripheral stents.
• Utilize special equipment such as Rotoblader, CSI, Impella, IABP, hawk, Pneumbra, Angiojet, and Rotorex.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• COVID•19 vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted.
Our client's location is a recognized Stroke Center, Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital, and Level 2 Trauma center. It is also the first hospital in the state to offer 4D echocardiograms and the only Certified Autism Center providing Autism services.

On your first day, you will receive instructions from the facility. The orientation will include a general overview on Day 1, followed by shadow shifts with another RN on Days 2 and 3. After that, you will be working independently. The scrub requirement for this role is black. PPE will be provided and the EMR used is Epic.
