Ultrasound Technologist (Breast Only) - FT - New York City!!!

$91,000 - $121,000

Schedule: 4x10s or 3x12s

 
Ultrasound Tech or Medical Sonographer (radiation free)
  • Breast - Whole breast ultrasound and dense breast tissue. Whole breast ultrasound for women at higher risk of breast cancer. Automated whole breast ultrasound.
  • Machines used: GE Logiq 10 (newest version)
  • Patient workload:  9-15 patients per dayAlso depends on the hours worked and specialty. There are techs working 10hr or 12 hr shifts, so anywhere from 9-15 pt per day. Breast techs usually scan more than general techs because exam length is shorter.
  • Schedule: Breast techs prefer 3x (730a-8P). General- 4x10 hrs (9-6 or 10-8) or 3x(730a-8P)
  • Any preferred experience: BLS, Peds experience a plus but no required

Requirements/Education/Certifications:
  • Must have 1 year in Ultrasound
  • Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree
  • MUST have ARDMS for Ultrasound (RDMS or RDCS or RVT or RMSKS)
  • MUST have BLS
  • Must have SPI
  • Peds experience preferred
  • Require COVID vaccination – no exemption. Require booster? No
  • Must be willing to float to other locations (Lower Manhattan and Midtown here and there)
