Job description
Schedule and Call Requirements:
- Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Call: 3:30 PM - 7:30 AM
- Frequency: 3 weeknights/month, potential for additional shifts during start-up phase
- Primary Call: In-house
- Secondary Call: 30-minute response time
Case Mix and Work Environment:
- Specialties: General, Endo (primarily at ASC, ~2100 cases/year), Ortho, Urology, High-risk OB (including VBACs), GYN, Cancer, Liver, some Vascular, ENT, Radiology (with Anesthesia), Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, light Cardiac (TEE and Brain-back)
- Blocks: Bread-and-butter (interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, adductor popliteal, TAP)
- Caseload Variety: Majority in General and Endo
Skills and Proof Required:
- Proficiency: Epidurals, spinals, blocks
- Documentation: Proof of competency required
Staffing:
- Daily Team: 6 CRNAs, 4 MDs
- Coverage: 9 providers working daily (7 at the main hospital, 2 in late rooms, 2 at the ASC)
- Post-call Relief: 1 provider off-duty post first call day
