Job Posting: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Locum Tenens
Position Details
- Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Start Date: April 14, 2025
- Contract Length: 6 months (26 weeks)
- Schedule: Full-Time, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday)
- Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch)
- Call Requirements: No Call
- Weekends: None
Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro cases (No Cardiac, No OB)
- Expected patient load: 1-9 per day, covering all age groups except Neonatal
- Perform procedures such as Intubation, Central Line, Arterial Line, and Line Placement (Blocks not likely needed)
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
- Work as part of a medically directed anesthesia team with anesthesiologists and residents
Requirements
- Board Certification: NBCRNA
- Minimum Experience: 1 year (New grads not eligible)
- State License: Kentucky license required (willing to license)
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Support Staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Techs, Anesthesiologists
- Coverage Model: Typically, 1 Anesthesiologist per 2-3 CRNAs, with residents also present
- Observed Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
