Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to expert in Workday, offering day-to-day functional support and development, including configuring business processes, generating reports, executing mass data operations (EIB), testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide deep insights into Workday HCM best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify challenges, prioritize requirements, and discover opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency through Workday functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain clear, detailed business requirements for changes, enhancements, or projects. Ensure comprehensive documentation and offer strategic guidance on functionality and design from start to finish.
  • Stay updated on Workday’s future releases and roadmap, assessing the impact of upcoming features on current and planned functionalities.
  • Lead thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features, contributing to release planning. Responsible for regression, unit, User Acceptance, and pre-launch testing, ensuring new features or enhancements are fully vetted.
  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts to incorporate knowledge, explore alternative solutions, and apply best practices, ensuring a comprehensive and effective approach.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly and accurately addressing and resolving inquiries.

Education and Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience in Workday functional configuration across multiple HCM modules, such as Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Absence and Time-Tracking, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, etc., within a mid-to-large-sized organization.
  • 5+ years of cross-functional experience in Workday administration, including security design and business process management.
  • At least 3 year of experience in HRIS project management, encompassing analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday’s functional capabilities, including an understanding of its potential and limitations, familiarity with standard features and reports, and experience in performing routine administrative tasks.
  • Proven track record in handling confidential and sensitive information with care.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Practical experience in HR practices and program development that allows for a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs across HR functions is desirable.
