Job Title: Trader, Multi Asset

About Us: We are a systematic asset manager overseeing over $1 trillion in AUM, offering core beta exposures across various equity and niche asset classes. Our transparent investment process focuses on risk-adjusted performance, using a team-based, collaborative approach across all investment disciplines.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Trader experienced in trading instruments across asset classes including commodities, FX, futures, options, equities, swaps, treasuries, and hybrids.

Ideal Background:

  • At least five years of Program Trading experience in commodities, FX, futures, options, equities, ETFs, swaps, fixed income, and hybrids.
  • Strong comfort with complex trading strategies involving single, multiple, or cross assets, including OTC and listed instruments.
  • Experienced with algorithmic, dark pool, and automated trading strategies, tools, and platforms.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work schedule: in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Predominantly US hours trading role with occasional evening and holiday trading.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to optimize trade execution for various passive and quantitative investment strategies.
  • Execute daily trades and develop strategies for derivatives trading within existing portfolios.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar trading role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in trade execution with listed instruments, program trading, and complex orders.
  • Preferably experienced in commodities futures trading.
  • Understanding of security returns drivers (e.g., duration, delta, beta) and their use in trading.
  • Hands-on experience with OMS workflow and front-office operations; Charles River experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with transaction cost analysis tools and methods.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of buy-side operations, compliance responsibilities, and proficiency with technology (spreadsheets, data manipulation).
  • Enjoys working in a collegial environment and thrives in a dynamic organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage sell-side relationships.
