Job description
As the Senior Manager of HRIS, you will lead and manage a growing team, ensuring the effective support and maintenance of specialized internal HR systems, services, and applications tailored to our organization's unique needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members.
- Oversee the daily operations of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Individual Responsibilities:
You will provide strategic direction, tactical planning, and oversight for the Global HRIS team, ensuring consistent performance across all operations by:
- Overseeing and maintaining the optimal functionality of the organization’s internal HR information systems, including database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Managing and maintaining internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security.
- Installing, implementing, modifying, and upgrading software and applications to meet evolving business and technology needs.
- Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees.
- Collaborating with executive leadership and HR staff to identify and enhance existing information services and databases, recommending and implementing solutions.
- Communicating work and updates to ensure knowledge sharing across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS aligns with organizational needs and goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough understanding of database construction.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems, with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
