Position Summary:
This role is focused on aligning technology with Human Resources goals, specifically by maximizing the efficiency, data integrity, and accessibility of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking (PATT). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these Workday modules and be responsible for their implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration. Serving as a technical point of contact, you will support employees and HR staff globally, ensuring seamless HR operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR functional experts to analyze and continuously improve processes related to Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking while leveraging Workday.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize integration of Workday data with other company platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and system efficiency by overseeing system configuration, testing, and audit processes specific to PATT.
  • Maintain and support Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, ensuring system functionality aligns with business goals.
  • Serve as the system administrator for these modules, managing upgrades, system maintenance, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking processes.
  • Generate actionable reports and dashboards, utilizing Workday’s reporting capabilities and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Conduct training sessions for HR staff and employees, developing user procedures and guidelines specific to Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) related to employee and payroll data.
  • Provide timely and accurate support for payroll processing and file feeds to vendors.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday, with a focus on Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, preferably including system implementation and configuration.
  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting, with advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Business Intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for collaboration with HR teams and cross-functional departments.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking configurations align with HR goals, improving process efficiency and data quality.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop standardized practices that streamline HR operations.
  • Create and maintain analytics to provide insights for HR decision-making and compliance.
  • Enhance employee satisfaction and manager efficiency through training on Workday self-service features.
  • Oversee compliance with data security and privacy regulations specific to Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Drive HR operational efficiency and support strategic organizational goals through the effective use of Workday technology.
