Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maximizing the alignment of technology with Human Resources goals and objectives. The focus is on ensuring data integrity, security, process efficiency, and accessibility through effective systems implementation, configuration, administration, and training. The position will serve as a technical point of contact for HR systems, supporting employees and HR staff on a global basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR functional experts to analyze and continuously improve processes while leveraging HR systems to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize the integration of HR data with company platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility of actionable data through effective system configuration, testing, and audit processes.
  • Maintain and support all Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, Onboarding, Absence, and Learning.
  • Serve as the system administrator, overseeing system maintenance, upgrades, and user access.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements.
  • Generate reports and dashboards, develop standard and complex reports, and use Business Intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct training sessions, develop user procedures, guidelines, and ensure all users have the necessary training and system access.
  • Maintain awareness of HRIS trends and monitor developments that align with organizational HR goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Support timely and accurate processing of file feeds to vendors.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field with a focus on technology.
  • Experience working with a variety of HR functional areas, including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Talent Management, and IT.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Workday, preferably including system implementation.
  • Strong experience with data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel (advanced skills required) and Business Intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to support collaboration within the HR team and across departments.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the achievement of HR goals by aligning technology with HR processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to develop standardized practices that improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Develop and maintain analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Enhance employee satisfaction and manager effectiveness through configuration and training on system features, such as employee and manager self-service.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Manage HR technology in alignment with organizational HR policies and programs.
