Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maximizing the alignment of technology with Human Resources goals and objectives, with a focus on Workday Core HCM, Security, and Reporting. The primary responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, security, process efficiency, and accessibility through effective systems implementation, configuration, administration, and user training. The position will serve as a technical point of contact for HR systems, supporting employees and HR staff on a global basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR functional experts to analyze and continuously improve processes related to Core HCM, security, and reporting within Workday.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize the integration of HR data with company platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility of actionable data through effective system configuration, testing, and audit processes.
  • Maintain and support Workday Core HCM, ensuring accurate data management and process execution.
  • Oversee security configuration in Workday, managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Serve as the system administrator for Core HCM, managing system maintenance, upgrades, and user access, while ensuring the protection of sensitive HR data.
  • Troubleshoot system issues related to Core HCM, security, and reporting, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements.
  • Develop and generate reports within Workday, using Business Intelligence tools to provide actionable insights for HR and leadership.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation for system users, ensuring proper use of Workday HCM, security settings, and reporting features.
  • Stay updated on HRIS trends, specifically within Workday HCM, security, and reporting, to align system capabilities with organizational HR goals.
  • Ensure compliance with data regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR through rigorous security and data governance processes.
  • Support timely and accurate processing of file feeds to vendors in alignment with security and reporting specifications.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field with a focus on technology.
  • Experience working with Workday Core HCM, security configuration, and reporting is essential.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Workday, preferably in system implementation and security management.
  • Strong experience with data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel (advanced skills required) and Business Intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to support collaboration within the HR team and across departments.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the achievement of HR goals by aligning technology with HR processes, specifically in Core HCM, security, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to develop standardized practices that improve efficiency, data security, and reporting accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure data security through proper system configuration, user training, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage HR technology in alignment with organizational HR policies and programs, focusing on maintaining system integrity in Core HCM, security, and reporting functionalities.
