Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workday Security Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on configuring, managing, and optimizing security within the Workday system, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday security roles, domain security policies, and business process security, as well as a strong understanding of Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
Key Responsibilities:

Workday Security Administration:

Design, configure, and maintain security roles, domain security policies, and business process security within Workday.

Regularly review security permissions and update security configurations as needed.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Security Audits & Compliance:

Conduct security audits and access reviews to maintain data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.

Monitor and analyze security logs for suspicious activity or access violations.

Assist in compliance reporting and support internal/external audits.

Business Process Security:

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align Workday security with business needs.

Implement best practices for Workday security across Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.

Ensure security policies support business processes without compromising data protection.

Testing & Troubleshooting:

Test security changes in Workday tenant environments before deployment to production.

Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.

Provide recommendations to enhance security posture and system performance.

Stakeholder Support & Training:

Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday security for internal teams.

Develop and maintain security-related documentation, including security matrices and user guides.

Train HR and IT teams on security best practices and system access management.

Data Governance & Risk Management:

Ensure Workday security aligns with data governance frameworks and company risk management policies.

Work with IT and security teams to maintain and enhance Workday security infrastructure.

Support security incident response efforts related to Workday access and permissions.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3+ years of experience managing security within Workday.

Experience in HRIS security, compliance, and data governance.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in Workday security roles, domain security policies, business process security, and security groups.

Understanding of Workday security best practices and configurations.

Experience with Workday reporting, integrations, and Workday security audits is a plus.
